Dave’s Picks Vol. 13 – Officially Licensed Grateful Dead Pendant
Sterling silver • Handcrafted inlay • Limited edition of 13
This officially licensed pendant brings to life the album artwork from Dave’s Picks Volume 13, a recording featuring the winter whimsy of Grateful Dead’s February 24, 1974 show at the Winterland Arena in San Francisco, California. Featuring a dancing skeleton in green parka and orange boots skating joyfully through a psychedelic snow scene, this design plays with contrast, movement, and humor against a moody, swirling sky.
The handcrafted inlay combines turquoise, spiny oyster shell, mother of pearl, apple coral, jet, and more to build a rich and playful landscape. A bridge reminiscent of the Bay Area spans the horizon while the skeleton glides past snow-covered landmarks and a red sign buried in drifts.
Every line and color pop reflects the electric spirit of the Grateful Dead’s live energy. From the rosy-tinted cloudscape to the starburst sun and melting snow, the piece radiates the band’s fearless creativity and joyful rebellion. The skeleton's grin says it all—this is a ride worth taking.
Officially licensed by Grateful Dead Productions and crafted in a limited edition of only 13 pieces, this pendant is a rare tribute to a singular winter night in Dead history.
