Dave’s Picks Vol. 53 – Officially Licensed Grateful Dead Pendant
Sterling silver • Handcrafted inlay • Limited edition of 13
This officially licensed pendant brings to life the album artwork from Dave’s Picks Volume 53, a recording featuring Grateful Dead's October 2, 1976 show at Riverfront Coliseum in Cincinnati. Set against a fiery sunset skyline, a skeleton figure leans over the Delaware River, carefully painting a Steal Your Face skull into the water’s shimmering surface. A single red rose blooms nearby, while the reflection echoes the ever-evolving legacy of the Dead.
Handcrafted from sterling silver and meticulously inlaid with jet black, turquoise, yellow and orange lab opal, mother of pearl, and red apple coral, the composition glows with visual rhythm. Every line of architecture and ripple in the water is alive with energy, mirroring the kinetic emotion of the performance itself. The glowing rose is a nod to the band’s enduring symbol of beauty in chaos.
This limited edition pendant is one of only 13 ever created, making it a rare tribute to a standout live recording in Dead history. The design invites wearers to carry a piece of the Grateful Dead’s Philadelphia performance wherever the music may take them.
Officially licensed by Grateful Dead Productions and made entirely by hand, this is a collector's piece crafted with intention, honoring both the music and the art that surrounds it.
Each piece of our jewelry is handmade and crafted with natural materials. Variations in color and pattern are part of the process, so your piece may differ slightly from the photo — making it truly yours.
